Summary
This lecture concerns the development and current status of the Dutch Otologic Quality registry (DOQ). Development started in 2017 by our working group. A nationwide consensus has been reached on the set of outcome data. Data are collected from the electronic patient file (EPF) and the audiometer and are subsequently processed by our data processor. A module for the DOQ has been built in the EPF by one of the providers. Individual otologists are able to monitor their outcome data in a dashboard. From this year onwards, annual meetings will be held to discuss outcome data among the participants. This will lead to further improvement of the quality of care and big data input to research projects on important otology topics.
